Welcome to CollSong! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our mobile application. By accessing or using CollSong, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the app.
1. License
CollSong grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the app solely for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
2. User Content
You are responsible for the content you create and share through CollSong, including lyrics, tunes, vocals, and profile information. By submitting content, you agree:
Your content must not violate any laws or infringe on third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.
You grant CollSong a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, display, and modify your content for the purposes of app functionality, promotion, and related services. This license may also include sharing your content within the app for collaborative features or content creation tools.
By sharing your content, you affirm that you have obtained all necessary permissions and rights to use any third-party content.
3. Intellectual Property
CollSong and its licensors own all original content, features, and functionality within the app. You may not use our trademarks or any intellectual property without prior written consent from CollSong. The copyrights of songs created through CollSong will be shared equally by all artists involved, including lyricists, musicians, and vocalists.
4. Copyrights of Songs Created
The copyrights of songs created via CollSong belong to the contributing artists. You are prohibited from downloading, recording, or extracting these songs for use outside the app unless you have explicit, written consent from CollSong Inc. Commercial use or distribution without permission is prohibited.
5. Push and Email Notifications
By signing up for CollSong, you consent to receive push notifications and email notifications about updates, activities, and promotions. You can manage your notification preferences or opt out at any time through the app settings.
6. AI-Generated Content
CollSong may use user-generated content such as lyrics, tunes, or vocals to generate album art or similar creative outputs through AI tools. This data will be used within the app and will not be shared with third parties unless explicitly stated. Any AI-generated outputs are intended for use within the app and not for external distribution.
7. Content Policy Violations
CollSong employs AI and automated systems to detect and prevent harmful or inappropriate content. If your content violates our content policy, it may be flagged, rejected, or removed. You agree not to upload or share content that:
Violates intellectual property rights.
Is harmful, offensive, or illegal.
Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful technology.
Is abusive, discriminatory, or promotes hate speech.
8. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following activities on CollSong:
Copy, distribute, or reproduce any part of the app without written permission.
Upload, transmit, or distribute harmful, offensive, or malicious content.
Use CollSong for unauthorized commercial purposes, including spamming or soliciting other users.
Attempt to interfere with the app’s performance or security.
Engage in fraudulent or unlawful activities through the app.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to CollSong immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms or engage in activities that disrupt the app or violate third-party rights.
10. Limitation of Liability
CollSong is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use or inability to use the app. This includes loss of data, profits, goodwill, or any other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the City of Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or by email. By continuing to use CollSong after the changes take effect, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms.
13. Third-Party Services
CollSong may use third-party services, such as OpenAI for generating album art, to enhance the app functionality. By using these services, you agree to comply with the terms of these third-party providers. You should review their terms for additional information.
14. Data Retention
CollSong retains user-generated data such as lyrics, tunes, vocals, and profile information as long as necessary to provide app services, generate AI-based content, and comply with legal obligations. You may request to delete your data by contacting us via the app settings or email.
15. Children's Privacy
CollSong is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
16. Content Ownership and Permissions
When you upload content, you represent that you either own the content or have obtained all necessary permissions to share it within the app. This includes permission from any third-party rights holders. You must ensure compliance with copyright laws and report any intellectual property infringement immediately.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold CollSong and its affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your violation of these Terms or infringement of third-party rights.
18. Feedback and Suggestions
If you provide CollSong with any suggestions, feedback, or ideas regarding the app, you acknowledge that these will be treated as non-confidential and that CollSong may use them without compensation or obligation.

20. Subscriptions
CollSong may offer auto-renewable subscription plans (“CollSong Premium”) that provide access to additional features within the app.
Subscription details:
- Payment will be charged to your account upon confirmation of purchase. On iOS devices, payment is processed through your Apple ID account. On Android devices, payment is processed through your Google Play account.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings (Apple ID for iOS users or Google Play account for Android users).
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
CollSong Premium provides enhanced creative capabilities, including but not limited to increased limits on tracks, words, filters, and access to AI-powered features.
